Color-Blind

Dan & I took a much needed afternoon off yesterday after church.  One of the things we wanted to do was go apple picking but rather than go some place close to home, we decided to drive about 45 minutes away and do a number of activities.

One of the things we both commented on is how busy and distracted we get.  We race through life and forget to just stop and relax and breathe in the fresh air and notice the beautiful colors around us.  We can be color-bind!

Yesterday was a day full of colors!  I thought I'd share some with you.

Sometimes you just need to get rid of the distractions and appreciate the beauty around you and enjoy the colors!

  1. A very nice post, Terri! Such lovely pictures. We are a "hurry up" world but we need to take time to enjoy the lovely beauty God has given us- especially at this Fall time of year. Glad you and Dan had a nice get-away. Enjoy the Fall season!!
