Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!
Dan & I spent the day at the Bronx Zoo with Emily and her two friends yesterday. We had so much fun and even though the day was very hot and humid, we stayed for about 5 hours.
There were three new baby lions at the zoo and that was one of the first stops we made.
We rode the monorail through "Wild Asia" and were able to see a tiger, rhinoceros, elephants, a red panda, and all kinds of deer.
Author, Marc Brown was there and talked about his series, Arthur which my children used to love to watch.
The girls pretending to be baby birds.
Emily loved the petting zoo.
They all loved the giraffes.
I have about 150 pictures and there was no way to show them all. The girls had a great time and the zoo is definitely one of our favorite outings.
Oh, that does look like fun. Aren't family times (with friends) fun?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day they all had....something to look back on with pleasure.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time. We love going to our zoo down here as well and they are always adding new attractions and it doesn't get old for us either.
ReplyDeleteThe girls look like they were really getting into the fun of things.
