How are you at Counting?

I started "counting my blessings" a few years ago and week by week, they have added up.  I haven't done that the past few weeks because of the move and yep! if you don't look at how you are blessed, you start looking at the problems.

So I'm doing a Multitude Monday post on Tuesday and doing it a bit differently today.

Count Your Blessings

When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Refrain:

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.

#1836 - A husband who works hard every day.
#1837 - Ten and a half years of memories, mostly happy ones that we have as we move.

#1838 - The ability to be a participant in worship instead of helping to lead it.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
And you will keep singing as the days go by.

Refrain:
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.

#1839 - Seeing an overwhelming and daunting task start to dwindle as I check off my to-do list.
#1840 - Time to say goodbye to friends.
#1841 - A cup of hot tea, a great conversation and a rocking chair - bliss!

When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;
Count your many blessings—*money cannot buy [*wealth can never buy]
Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high.

Refrain:
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.

#1842 - The freedom that comes in not being tied to possessions.
#1843 - Seeing how rich I really am, not in material ways, but spiritually.
#1844 - That my husband and I are on the same page when it comes to possessions.
#1845 - Being able to bless others with things we can no longer use.

So, amid the conflict whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged, God is over all;
Count your many blessings, angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

Refrain:
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your many blessings, see what God hath done.

#1846 - An unexpected snow day that allowed us to double our efforts in the move.
#1847 - Unexpected daddy/daughter time to do some Christmas shopping.
#1848 - A fall while rollerskating did not result in a broken wrist for Emily.
#1849 - God teaching us through our time here how to deal with hard things.
#1850 - Perfect peace that comes in allowing God to be in control.

Can you count your blessings today?
