They all have excellent jobs which they hold on to. I think this has something to do with the example the parents set for them. My ex-husband, my husband now (25 years) and myself all had jobs which we stuck with. You and Terry have exemplified this work ethic in your kids.

Yes, we have to keep on them about their household chores. That takes a lot of effort and sometimes resistance.

My husband (a middle school teacher and coach) would never let the kids quit something if they signed up to participate. He made them see it through.

Thanks for the wonderful post and the pictures of those beautiful kids. I love you all.

DebbiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6199834575705009097.post-27984855693340334272012-03-20T10:18:16.408-04:002012-03-20T10:18:16.408-04:00Exactly, Kate! Sometimes I'm amazed at how well my children work on their jobs, on missions trips, for neighbors when I look at their lack of enthusiasm for housework!! But the training on how to work hard and excellently REALLY pays off in their lives later on! Love you, darling!Kate @ Teaching What Is Goodhttp://teachingwhatisgood.comnoreply@blogger.com
