Weight Watchers

Well, I knew it would happen eventually but I had a week that was less than stellar. I didn't go off the diet but I certainly used up every last extra point I had. And I paid for it. :-( The irritating thing is I exercised more this week than I have previously.

This week, I gained 1 lb. so my total weight loss after 5 weeks is......

12 lbs.

So, this week I'm refocusing and getting back on track. I'll keep you posted next Sunday.

  1. Terri, it is absolutely normal. Dont worry about it, there is always a small sticking point, but you will go on going on!

  3. The key is just to stay on track - you've been doing so good! And you know, it may have just been some water retention today! My problem is that when I see that little fluctuation up I get discouraged and go back to bad habits. It's so great to see that you're staying on track Terri! Love ya! Have a great day!

  4. Sometimes the loss shows the next week. Exercise can also lead to inch loss but not weightloss. Anyway, put it behind you and keep going. You know you can do it - you'll probably reach your first stone next week!

  5. You know Terri, the extra pound may be muscle built because you exercised more.
You are still doing an AWESOME job!
    Way to stick with it!

  6. Hi Terri, don't be hard on yourself it does happen, with exercising more you probably gained more muscle and muscle weighs more then fat, so that is a GOOD thing!!:0) Have a great week!!~Wendy

  8. Hi Terri! Thanks for the comment on the little dress I made. I thought I'd check out your site. Isn't weight watchers great? I love it.. I'm thinking of doing it again. Sounds like you had a tough week though. I'm sorry you gained a pound, but I was thinking. Since you worked out more this week do you think it might be a pound of muscle? Muscle weighs more than fat so it could seem that you're putting on weight when your not. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have much success!

  9. Y'know, you're actually doing really well Terri! Like April said, it could just be a little water retention or something.

Don't give it another thought...just have a lovely day, ok?

    Love and hugs,
    Tina :)

  10. Thank you ladies. I'm not giving up but it is annoying to have gained. I know that some of it is hormonal (that time of the month) and some of it could be muscle weight.

Anyway, I'm sticking to it. Another lady in my church just started so that's nice to have someone else doing it with me.

  11. Terri,
You'll lose it this next week! 12 lbs is wonderful!
I need to go on weight watchers, but it is more encouraging with a friend. I had lost weight a few years back, but I have gained it back; so depressing. :(
    You are inspiring!

  14. Hey Terri,
I think you did awesome this week. Only gaining one pound is nothing. You can recover from that easily. I'll be back next week to celebrate with you!!
