One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism
We had a very busy weekend and it culminated in the sweetest service last night, as Dan baptized 14 people. Some of them were brand new believers and some had decided to follow the Lord years ago, but were never baptized. It is wonderful to see the Spirit of the Lord moving in our small church.
We used another church because we don't have a baptism tank. If it was summer we could of used a local pool, but this was actually very nice. Of course, I cried through the whole thing but they were tears of joy.
We had two whole families that were baptized.

Dan gave a wonderful devotional on what baptism is.
Than each one was baptized.
It was such a special night and I feel so privileged to have been a part of it.

Terri, you can see the joy on their faces. What a wonderful occasion.
ReplyDeleteTerri,
ReplyDeleteNot only young people and families but a white haired lady. I would have been weeping too.
Wonderful stuff! Thanks for sharing Terri! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome!!! Our Youth Pastor baptized three teens yesterday morning. It's so exciting when people come to know the Lord, regardless of their age.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful - Praise be to God!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
