This has been an eclectic kind of week and I've enjoyed it. It was a week of snow, Christmas decorations, Christmas baking for an upcoming event this weekend, Zoom celebrations, and writing.

It's surreal watching yourself talk! lol |

Praying with women around the world. |

This was my mom's advent wreathe and I donated it to our church. Love having it being used each year. |

I had a couple of oranges starting to look not great so I cut them up and put them in my vinegar bottle for cleaning. |
 |
I also added some rosemary and sage. I'll let this steep for a few days and then strain it and use it to clean. I add equal parts vinegar, water, about a teaspoon of dish soap and some essential oil to a spray bottle and this is what I use for almost everything. |
 |
I wrote a month's worth of devotionals for a women's organization in our denomination. I'm putting it together in an e-book format. |
 |
Last night I made a creamy potato, leek and white bean soup. Delicious and the beans made it filling. |
I've also done some sewing, but I find that I'm having less time for that lately as other activities in my life increase. Anyway, I'm so thankful for all the ways the Lord is using my gifts in ministry. Our city is doing their annual Christmas parade and the parade participants line up in front of the church. Each year we offer hot cocoa, coffee, cookies and the use of our bathrooms to the parade participants. I'm looking forward to this event tomorrow evening.
This morning I have a zoom meeting and then I'm off to work at a friend's shop for the rest of the day. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Sounds like you are really busy. I love your Mum's Advent Ring. After my dad died, we found a stash of vouchers for a DIY store - we spent them on a new tree, lights and decorations for our church. He would have been pleased, he always said that many folk only come to church at Christmas, and if the members just put up a tatty old tree, it's not a good witness!! The devotions book looks lovely - is it possible to access it in the UK?
