Men at Work

Charlie, an amazingly cool guy from church, invited Dan to bring the boys to help him tile a floor. They were so excited to go and spent all day yesterday and this morning helping him.

Dan's job was to go get donuts and coffee - LOL!

So they had fun and helped someone out. I think it was an overall good experience!

  1. This is good training for the boys and give them a sense of accomplishment and self-worth. Bringing the donuts doesn't sound like a hard job, Dan!

  2. What a great skill for the boys to learn! I'll come help too if I can have some donuts and coffee. :)

  3. Mom, we keep all tools away from Dan! He is a wonderful pastor but when it comes to mechanical and building jobs he is better off going to get the donuts :-)!

  5. Tiling a floor is a laborious task, but I bet it was much easier having a few people help. They all did beautiful work.
Thanks for the nice comment on my necklace and about my son leaving home. I'll tell you something funny. Michael is the kind of kid who keeps to himself most of the time. He's the first one to ask if you need help with something, and he's very generous. But huggy-kissy stuff and socializing are hard for him. (He's getting better as he matures.) And I still feel a big empty spot with him gone!
BTW, I will see him tomorrow when we all go out to my bil's for Easter dinner!

It's rather soothing while your reading your blog! Good pick!

  8. Mom, it's the same music I had on there before. I haven't added anything new. I just rearranged it. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says, My Playlist and click on the song you want to hear.
