Adventure
Yesterday Dan came home early and decided it would be nice if we went hiking. We have part of the Appalachian Trail near here so we packed up the kids and headed out.
First, we got a family picture.
Then off we went.
The women.
The men.
We stopped a took a rest by the river. Emily occupied herself by writing in the mud.
What a stud!
Of course, the kids had to stop and pose for many pictures.
Emily always drags about 50 things with her when we hike. Somehow, she seems to think she needs to be prepared for any emergency. She brought her journal and had to stop and write in it every 1/2 hour or so.
Look at that power! It was roaring so loudly that it was difficult to talk.
It was a tiring, but satisfying afternoon.
