Emily's Favorite Things

I was watching Emily play the other day and realized that she is growing up so fast. She is losing her little girl looks and starting to look more like a young lady. I thought I'd show you some of her favorite things.

A bird feeder she made all by herself. She is very proud of it.

A dress I made her last year and a dog her cousin, Lydia gave her the other day.

Some of her MANY stuffed animals.

She is a joy to be around and I look forward to seeing what the Lord will do in her life as she gets older!

  1. Emily is at that lovely stage where she is not too grown up yet. Easier now than later!
Such a sweet face, and I love the dress you made.

  2. Thank you, Elizabeth. I made that dress for Easter last year. It has a little slip dress underneath and then the top dress has daffodils. It was beautiful material, though I think she is getting too big for it. I noticed the ruffle on the under dress stuck out a lot further this year!

  4. She is a sweet and fun girl to be around and wished she were living closer to us so we could be around her more. We miss you, Emily!

The dress you made her is very cute, Terri!

    I know she is a Daddy's Girl.

  6. Terri,
I know it is a common saying, but children do grow up fast!(I know and understand just how fast.) Emily is very pretty and she looks a lot like you. I pray blessings from the Lord on her life.
Have a wonderful time with Emily.

  7. What a sweet girl! You reminded me of a favorite memory of my girl (now 28!) She won a contest for designing a fire safety poster in about 3rd grade. She got off the bus that day with a huge bird feeder and bag of bird seed that was the prize. I can see her running with her long hair flying with that stuff in her arms along with her regular books and stuff. She was so excited that she had won something.

  12. Thank you Phoebe. She does look like her father though if you saw my side of the family, there is a big family resemblance.

  13. Thank you for sharing these pictures Terri, she is just beautiful, and looks like she has such a precious personality too. Of course she has you for a mom, so that has to be a lot of the reason!
