Lemon Squares

We have a church board meeting at our house tonight and I made one of my favorite desserts, lemon squares. They are easy to make and oh, so good!

Put 1 cup of margarine or butter in a bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of confectioner sugar and 2 cups of flour. Cut into small pieces.

Press into a 9x13 inch pan.

Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Meanwhile beat together 4 eggs, 2 cups of sugar, 5 Tbsp. flour adn 6 Tbsp. lemon juice.

Pour over baked crust.
Photobucket

Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees until set.

When cool sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and cut into squares.

  10. Sounds so delicious and I can't eat them but I will definately save this recipe to use for some church function. Thanks for the post.

    How do you do it? Make all these wonderful desserts without eating any of them! You have more will power than I do that's for sure!
