Christmas Caroling
We took the girls from 3D Girls caroling last night and they had a great time. It was freezing! This year I got smart and called a few people ahead of time so they were prepared for us to come and one of the ladies from our church even had hot cocoa and cookies waiting for us.
I love doing things like this and our church has done it in the past. It's much more fun with a bunch of little girls though!
We so miss caroling here, it just isnt done in France. But we do have a Carol service at the church, which will be lovely.

ReplyDeleteWe used to do caroling in the little town we lived in. We would hitch up a hay trailer full of haybales and whoever wanted to jump on could go ahead. Then we would drive through town with everyone singing and laughing. It was so much fun... I miss it!

ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to hear that the girls went caroling. A friend and I were talking a few days ago about how people don't go around caroling anymore or at least we don't hear of it. Thank you for the post.

Look at all those smiles! It sure looks like they had a great time. A reward of hot chocolate would make anyone smile, I think.
