Weight Watchers

I haven't posted about my progress on Weight Watchers since the beginning of November. After getting on the scale this morning, I know why. I've gained 6 lbs. since then. I started weight watchers back in June and with this weight gain, it puts my total weight lost back to....

20 lbs.

I had lost 27 lbs. altogether so this is a bit discouraging. However, I started back again yesterday and just need to refocus. The holidays are over and the temptations that are laying around my house are gone.

I'll post my progress each week. The main thing that has been lacking lately is the exercise. It's been so cold! Dan & I were walking 3 miles about 5 days a week but have totally slacked off. So that's the other thing that I needs my attention. I'll keep you posted!

  1. We arent happy with what our scales are telling us Terri! That's the problem of staying with family, one of whom is a wonderful cook!

  2. This is such a difficult thing for us Moms and Wives to do... it means taking the time for us. I've been struggling with this also, I have about 10-12 lbs of leftover "baby" chub left. But like you said, the holidays are over and temptations should be less.

  3. Tuh, the holidays are difficult when trying to maintain/lose weight. You'll get back on track Terri! I think I might be able to lose some weight this year...we won't be able to afford to buy so many treats, etc and if I go out to work I won't be in the kitchen to nibble snacks either! Lol! :)

  4. Thank you, Terri, so much for posting this. I was wondering about your progress, but have been out of touch for such a long while I just figured I was really behind! I can completely relate to this, as my total weight loss was 27 lb also, but I'm up a bit now. I am fluctuating right around 19 and 20 lb down also. I have been doing some exercise, which I had basicaly eliminated - I do the same walking videos that Michelle does - and that is great for any weather! Not to mention, I have been trying to break the world record for the most sugary products eaten in one day - LOL (not really...I already hold the world record - he he) :0)

I look forward to seeing how you will continue to make progress during the upcoming year, you have been really dedicated and I know you will continue to do fantastically!

    Love you much!

  6. Terri I think 20 pounds is wonderful! I wouldn't let a little thing like a tiny gain get you down........the main thing is.......you lost 20 pounds! Thats awesome! It is always hard to keep up things during the holidays but now with the New Year starting, I am sure you will be able to get back into gear. Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration to me. :)

  7. I know you can take off those pounds Terri but it is hard when you make so many wonderful desserts for your family and you can't have them. The exercise really does help.

I haven't done anything since November myself except to maintain the weight loss that I had taken off up to then which is 25 pounds. My New Years resolution is to get busy and continue on myself and I need to take off more than 30 pounds more. So good luck to you and you can encourage me as well.
