Crafty Things

Tomorrow the local fire department is holding a craft fair.  I'll be participating and bringing my craft items, as well as homemade breads.  Emily will be face painting for them.

I didn't start sewing until yesterday but still managed to crank out three aprons.  I'm going to try to pull together another one today as well as a table runner and place mats.  We'll see how it goes as I'll also be making bread today and need to get at least 10-15 loaves done.

Here are the creations this week.

Child's apron. (I just realized that this came out a bit blurry).

Second apron. This one is lined with the same material as the pocket.

I also got two dish cloths done while I was at my mom's.

I'm going to hold off on putting them in the Etsy shop until after the craft fair.  So what have you been working on this week?

  1. Terri - they are lovely :)Good luck at the craft fair.
What I have been working on is a sore point - my machine is broken so I hand stitched a 5 foot banner, as I had been asked, for church. When it was done I was told that they didn't like the white fabric used, would have preferred a border and more detailing - am feeling bitter and twisted about it as I had done as originally asked. So a wasted week and a sore hand :(

  2. You busy bee! Hope you make lots of sales at the craft fair! I've been making a purse (wallet) and putting a new handle on my bag. xx

  3. All your crafts are very pretty, Terri. I liked the second apron the best...the one with the bold blue print and the pink pockets, trim and reverse siding. I hope you do well at your craft fair.

  4. Good luck and have fun at the Craft Fair. Homemade bread sounds so yummy.

I am almost done with a crocheted lap blanket. We have a prayer shawl ministry at our Church and I sometimes do lap blankets instead.....for the gentlemen.

Now I am going out to prune my roses before the rain returns this week-end. UGH!

    Love, Debbi
