Multitude Monday
Luke 1:37 ~ "For nothing is impossible with God."
We read this verse. We say it is true and yet, very rarely do we have faith enough to believe it.
This was a wonderful week of blessings that ended in the biggest blessing of all. A year ago, a man in our church was going through a separation and there was very little hope of reconciliation. He spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with us as he dealt with depression over his failed marriage. It truly seemed impossible for them to work things out.
Yet, here we are a year later and his wife has come to know the Lord and God has restored their marriage. God is continuing to work in both of their lives in an awesome way. We had the honor of watching them get baptized last night and it truly was a testament to the verse in Luke.
All things are possible with God!
They shared what God is doing in their lives and then the husband had the privilege of baptizing his wife and Dan baptized him. It was such a wonderful, intimate evening with sweet fellowship.
This week I'm thankful for blessings #1306-1325.
♥ Beautiful creatures outside my window.
♥ A new vacuum.
♥ Fresh, sweet and juicy pineapple.
♥ A day off for my husband.
♥ Ice coating each blade of grace.
♥ My daughter, showing maturity, by giving up all the things she loves to help get her allergies under control.
♥ Renewed hope daily.
♥ The first snow of the season.
♥ Brisk air on my cheeks.
♥ Birds flitting outside my window.
♥ Silly girls.
♥ Apple pie, warm from the oven.
♥ Blessing my husband by making his lunch every day.
♥ A good friend who is a kindred spirit.
♥ The promise of a gorgeous tomorrow.
♥ A husband who works hard.
♥ Children who keep me continually in prayer.
♥ Thankful that Stephen wasn't hurt in his fender bender.
♥ Sunlight streaming through the window.
And finally...
♥ The reminder that all things are possible through Christ.

I hope that Emily's health improves dramatically when she reduces exposure to allergens.
ReplyDeleteOur family can never have a cat or dog due to family member's allergies. It's a disappointment, but health comes first!
Beautiful gratitude list, Terri. I am so happy for the couple who were baptized. God is good.
