Nineteen Years Ago Today

Nineteen years ago today, my friend Lisa M. Buske's only sister, Heidi Allen, was kidnapped and is still missing.  6,935 days of wondering where she can be.  6,935 days of sadness.  Lisa's new book, Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey released today on Amazon.com.  It is a story of how God uses unbearable tragedy and turns it into triumph!

One of the reasons I am blogging about this today is that Lisa and her family have a facebook page set up for this book.  They are trying to get 6,935 likes on this page to commemorate each day that Heidi has been missing.  Please consider going over there and liking the page to offer your support.  The page link is Where's Heidi?

If you don't have a facebook or can't get over there, please feel free to offer your support by visiting her blog (address on my sidebar) or even purchasing a copy of Where's Heidi from Amazon.  It is such an encouraging book.

Thank you for supporting Lisa and the Allen family.  April 3rd is normally a day that is difficult for them and while, I'm sure it's still a day that they remember with sadness, today they have new joy and hope!
