2013 in Review

I love looking back each December 31st at some of the highlights of the year.  There were lots of good ones in 2013. :-)

February

We celebrated Valentine's Day as a family once again, continuing a tradition we started the year before.

March

Nathan achieved Firefighter of the Year.  We were bursting with pride.

April

My very first book, Words of Encouragement for a Discouraged World, was released.

May

May was a busy month!

Nathan turned 22.

Memorial Day kicked off a summer of firemen parades.

I started my own business, Terri's Country Crafts & Books.

Emily turned 14.

June

I threw a surprise birthday bash for Dan's 50th birthday.  I also put together a published book, A Life Well Lived, with words from the many people whose lives have been touched by him.

July

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by renewing our vows in front of family & friends.  What a beautiful day.

August

We took our first family vacation ever without the boys.  That was an adjustment!

September

My second book, One Clear, Still Night, was released.

Emily started high school.

November

After 10 1/2 years of ministry in our church, Dan accepted a call to a new church and a new area.

We spent the weekend after Thanksgiving with my sister and her family.  A rare treat.

December

Most of December was spent packing up a house!

Nathan received Service Star Employee of the year at his job.

Stephen has made Dean's List for 3 straight semesters.

We made a major move across the state.

We spent Christmas in a new house.

So many things happened in 2013.  I can't wait to see what 2014 holds!
