Sew Crafty Friday

Photobucket

Every Friday, Shereen at Waiting for Him hosts Sew Crafty Friday. You can check out the other crafts over there.

I was away all last week and this week has been very busy. The only thing I've really had time for was making some notecards. This time I experimented with using a stencil brush and ink to color some of the cards. I wasn't really thrilled with them but they turned out okay.

  6. Thank you Clare and Sharon. I'm always a bit insecure about my creativity. I mean, I think it looks okay but when I see some of the things that others do, they are just amazing.

  8. Blushing...I didn't mean to make your crafting STRESSFUL! lol I'm very much a creature of routine and sameness ;)

Actually while going thru trying to figure out what I'm going to make for Christmas gifts this year you inspired me :) My Mom LOVES to write and has bunches of pen pals...so I'm thinking maybe some special note cards and things would be nice. I'll start a thread on the board though about what yall use to make them ;)

  14. I can't believe you weren't "thrilled" with such lovely notecards.:0 They are beautiful and I would love to recieve a letter on such pretty staionary. It would brighten my day for sure. I guess we are our own worst critics. I think you did a wonderful job, even if you don't. :)
